Interview with Illara - Linkin Park Construction owner.

What is your site about?
LPC is all about art & designs :) and it is all by the fans :)

How old is it?
2 years old! since 20th July :)
didn’t managed to celebrate it, but maybe next year! :D

Is there a meaning behind the name?
“to construct an art” :)

How many hours do you work on it per day/week?
since its all about designs, i’ll set my deadline reminding myself of what to do. when i start working on it, it can take a whole day for me to complete. it all depends my creativity. :)
but you can say on average once per week :)
i do hope fans send in some of their fanArts though. xD

Is ran only by you or you have some sort of help?
It used ran only by myself alone till I realised I was struggling during my exam time, I asked Nathy to be a part LPC and she agreed! She have done so much from news updates! thank you Nathy!
(P.S: I welcome anybody with passion of designing, arts, and such a cyber person.. to LPC team LOL!)

What made you start it?
The day when I told myself, “Since I love designing so much, why not make a fansite dedicated to them through designs and arts.”

What makes you keep on running it?
My dad and LP fans. My Dad has been the greatest person I ever known. He supports me in what I do which I am really grateful for. And LP fans? - Even though maybe possibly, i dont have their support but i always think of the fans. I feel that they’re important, they are the ones who visit fansites expecting updates, so these miracle peoples kept me going :)

Tell us the story of your site (no matter how long):
HAHA! funny that you asked this! :D Want to know how it starts? Here goes:
My first site was a failure because I had no depth, I had no purpose, and no idea where am I gonna get myself a gallery.
I was upset that I had to shut down the first site. It was then I passed by a construction site (LMAO, no kidding), I noticed the fence, railings, and the awesomness of grunges - I kept it all visual in my head till I got home.

So, I got myself blank piece of paper, scribbling, “Linkin Park Construction.” and behind was all the fence, and I wrote, wallpapers, icons, banners… another idea struck again! I said to myself, since there aren’t alot of fansites doing designs, might as well I be the first! :)
I was estatic! I went online, I googled for ‘Linkin Park Construction’ wondering if anyone has taken it… and surprisingly, it hasnt! another bingo for me!

I started designing slowly, registering photobucket, and other things for me to get started with. And I would definitely wanted to thank Siby from JoeHahn.org cause she was my first affiliate! :D I was an Internet shy person. xD and slowly, affiliates started to increase, people leaving their links on the tagboard. By far now, I have noticed I have quite number of Icons! Two of the amazing fans posted in their FanArt - I was amazed. :D The fans had really kept me going.

And then one day I received a mail by LP Merchandise store asking me to feature their banner on the site. And little did I know it was LP Official Merchandise store! :) I was really happy to be noticed by someone official related to LP. I wanted LPC to be noticed by LP just like any other fansite :) But I think for now, I believe that they do once in awhile check websites, so I have faith that “probably” one of the days, those guys for sure see my site. :D

To end it off, I thank you to all fans especially the ones who loved my designs - I am really happy about it. :)
So, that’s my LPC life ;)
I am not that great of an artist, but I have passion for it.
