While Bennington is very proud of Out Of Ashes, he wants the millions of LP fans around the world to understand Dead By Sunrise is just another vehicle for Bennington, not a replacement. “Everyone in Linkin Park is supportive of me on this,” he says. “We’re all very close and honest with each other. If those guys had any concerns about whether this was going to hurt the band or keep us from making a great record, they would’ve told me and this record wouldn’t be coming out. Even if the record was finished I’d wait until the right time to do it.”

Starting on Tuesday, September 1 viewers can watch the hottest outdoor festivals from the comfort of the cool indoors, as Palladia premieres festivals featuring artists including Bruce Springsteen, Kings of Leon, Lily Allen, Gnarls Barkley, Metallica, Linkin Park, and many more. From the grasslands of the U.K. to the seaside of Spain, Palladia is taking viewers around the world to the biggest outdoor concerts of the year! Next, the Sonisphere Festival is rocking out with some of the biggest heavy metal acts in contemporary music. Headliners Metallica, Linkin Park, Alice in Chains and Anthrax are all jam packed into 2 hours of one of the liveliest rock fests the Knebworth House in the U.K. has seen. LPL/LPA interview with Chester

LP Live and LP Association had the opportunity to submit some fan questions to Chester Bennington.

“I have a love/hate relationship with twitter. I find it completely annoying, but often times useful and entertaining. It’s really easy to text. I’ve never actually been on a computer while using twitter. So it can’t be counted as becoming a tech-head. For someone that’s in a band that’s so computer savvy and with all these tools that we use, I just tell someone I need you to help me record this and I have someone get on the computer who knows how to use pro-tools. It’s kind of ridiculous. Ever since I was a little kid learning how to program in DOS and make a square on the screen, my brain can’t comprehend it for some reason. Its’ really difficult for me to figure out how computers work. I’m ok at it. I can check my emails, but I’m not the most computer savvy person. I take a little bit of pride in that and I also feel like an idiot.”
